Samsung introduced the Samsung Galaxy C55 in China On Monday (April 23). This latest addition to the Galaxy C series is powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC and boasts an AMOLED Plus display with a unique hole punch design. With its impressive 50-megapixel triple rear cameras and a 5,000mAh battery that supports 45W wired charging, the Galaxy C55 is truly a powerhouse. While it shares similar specifications with the Galaxy M55, it stands out with its stylish leather back panel.

Samsung Galaxy C55 price

The Samsung Galaxy C55 is priced at CNY 1,999 (around Rs. 23,000) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage version, while the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model costs CNY 2,299 (roughly Rs. 26,000). Available in Black and Orange colors with a leather back, this phone is unlikely to be released in markets other than China.

The Galaxy M55 has been released in India with a base price of Rs. 26,999. You can choose between Denim Black and Light Green color variants.

Running on Android 14, the Samsung Galaxy C55 is equipped with dual SIM (Nano) support. It showcases a stunning 6.7-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED Plus display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,000 nits peak brightness. Powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, it offers up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage, expandable up to 1TB.

The Galaxy C55 features a triple rear camera setup for optics, including a 50-megapixel main sensor with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. It also boasts a 50-megapixel front camera.

The Galaxy C55 smartphone offers a wide range of connectivity options, including 5G, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, Glonass, Beidou, Galileo, QZSS, and a USB Type-C port. It also boasts speakers with Dolby Atmos technology for an immersive audio experience. In terms of sensors, it is equipped with accelerometers, gyro sensors, geomagnetic sensors, light sensors, and proximity sensors. For added security, the handset features an in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication and Samsung’s Knox Vault feature.
