The Realme GT 7 Pro is set to make its debut in India later this year, taking over from its predecessor, the Realme GT 5 Pro. While the company hasn’t disclosed the exact launch date or provided any additional information, some exciting details about the phone have emerged online. According to reports, it is expected to be among the first smartphones to feature Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon chipset. Additionally, a reliable tipster has also hinted at the camera and fingerprint sensor specifications of the Realme GT 7 Pro.

The Realme GT 7 Pro might come with a periscope telephoto camera rumored to provide a high optical zoom level, as per a Weibo post by tipster Smart Pikachu. Additionally, the upcoming smartphone is expected to have an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor for enhanced security. This sensor is said to provide more precise fingerprint readings than optical scanners.
Earlier, there were reports suggesting that the Realme GT 7 Pro would be released with Qualcomm’s yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC. The unveiling of this chipset is set for October this year. Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro are anticipated to be the initial phones in China to launch with this chipset. While the Realme device might not be the first in China with this SoC, it could be the first globally outside of China to feature this chip.
