Oppo has officially announced on Weibo that the Oppo Reno 12 series is set to debut in China on May 23 at 4 pm local time (1:30 pm IST). The devices are expected to sport a sleek ‘silver’ appearance, hinting at silver finishes. Additionally, the company has unveiled the rear panel design of the new phones.
Color Options
The Oppo Reno 12 comes in a sleek silver hue, whereas the Oppo Reno 12 Pro is available in a vibrant purple shade. Both devices boast shiny, sparkly exteriors and showcase oval-shaped rear camera setups in the upper left-hand side.
Innovative Photos, and Battery Life
Oppo has not shared any further information about the phones. However, in a recent social media post, the Reno 12 series is teased to offer “unexpected innovative ways to capture photos.” Oppo has also teased the Oppo Enco Air 4 Pro, which promises a battery life of up to 44 hours. The launch timeline for these wireless earbuds has not been confirmed, but they might be revealed during the Reno 12 launch.

The standard Oppo Reno 12 is rumored to run on a MediaTek Dimensity 8250 SoC, whereas the Pro version is expected to come with a MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset. Both phones are anticipated to have 50-megapixel triple rear camera setups.
