The launch date has been officially confirmed by the company, along with some availability information. iQoo India CEO Nipun Marya has also given a sneak peek into the design and color options of the upcoming model, which seems to be quite similar to the Chinese version. It is expected that the Indian variant will have similar specifications to the Chinese model. Recently, the iQoo Z9x 5G was spotted on the company’s India website.
Nipun Marya, the CEO of iQoo India, took to X (formerly Twitter) to confirm that the iQoo Z9x 5G will be released in India on May 16. The post also showcased the unique back panel design of the phone, which sports a light green hue with a feather-like pattern.
The latest post from iQoo India about X confirms that the iQoo Z9x 5G will be sold on Amazon in India. More details on the Indian version are expected to be revealed as we near the launch date.
The iQoo Z9x 5G made its debut in China, showcasing impressive specifications such as the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC and a high-capacity 6,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging capabilities. Its display is a noteworthy 6.72-inch 120Hz LCD screen, accompanied by a dual rear camera system that incorporates a 50-megapixel AI-powered lens. For selfies, it offers an 8-megapixel front camera and runs on the user-friendly OriginOS 4, which is based on Android 14.
In China, you can get the iQoo Z9x 5G for CNY 1,299 (approximately Rs. 15,000) with 8GB + 128GB storage. It comes in Dark Night, Feng Yuqing, and Starburst White colors.
