This smartphone will be a new addition to the Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G series, which made its debut in India back in April. The company has shared the launch date for the Infinix Note 40 5G in India, along with some important details about its design and color choices. Interestingly, the phone was recently released in the Philippines, and a similar version is anticipated to arrive in India soon.

The Infinix Note 40 5G is all set to make its debut in India on June 21, as announced by the company in a press release on Friday. This amazing handset boasts a triple rear camera setup neatly placed in a raised rectangular module. With its sleek design, you’ll notice the display with ultra-slim bezels and a centrally aligned hole punch cutout to accommodate the front-facing camera sensor.
The charging port and speaker grilles are located at the bottom of the phone, with the volume rocker and power button on the right side. The smartphone will be available in Obsidian Black and Titan Gold colors when it launches in the country.
Infinix Note 40 5G India variant features
The Infinix Note 40 5G’s Indian version will feature a 6.78-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display, boasting a 120Hz refresh rate and an impressive 93.8 percent screen-to-body ratio. It will also come equipped with a 5,000mAh battery supporting 33W wired fast charging and 15W wireless MagCharge technology.
The Infinix Note 40 5G is set to feature a sound system created in collaboration with JBL, just like the ones found in the Infinix Note 40 Pro+ 5G and the Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G. Users can expect immersive audio, 360-degree symmetrical sound, and enhanced bass quality.
Infinix Note 40 5G specifications (Expected)
The Indian version of the Infinix Note 40 5G hasn’t revealed its specifications yet, but the model released in the Philippines runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 7020 SoC with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS2.2 storage. It comes with XOS 14 based on Android 14 and has an IP53 rating for dust and splash protection.
In terms of optics, the Infinix Note 40 5G comes with a triple rear camera system consisting of a 108-megapixel main sensor and two 2-megapixel sensors. The front camera sports a 32-megapixel sensor.
