The Tecno Camon 30 series is set to make its debut in India soon. The company has officially announced the upcoming launch of these smartphones in the country. However, Tecno has not yet disclosed which specific models will be available in India. The series consists of four models – Tecno Camon 30, Camon 30 5G, Camon 30 Pro 5G, and Camon 30 Premier 5G. These phones were first unveiled globally in February this year at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024. Subsequently, the base and Pro versions were also introduced in Nigeria.

Tecno Mobile India has officially introduced the Tecno Camon 30 series in India through a post on X without specifying the launch date. The video attached to the post reveals that the phones will sport Sony Lytia cameras. Furthermore, a teaser on their social media account teased one of the upcoming models in a sophisticated black vegan leather design.
The teaser for the Tecno Camon 30 series model hints that the India version will closely resemble the global models, sharing similar specifications. We can anticipate the official launch of these phones in the country this month, with more details expected to be revealed soon.
Processor, Battery, and Charging
The Tecno Camon 30 4G runs on a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, whereas the 5G variant is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7020 SoC. The Camon 30 Pro 5G and the premium Camon 30 Premier 5G versions feature a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC. They have 5,000mAh batteries and are compatible with up to 70W wired fast charging.
Camera Setup and Performance
In terms of optics, the Tecno Camon 30 offers both 4G and 5G models, each featuring a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with dual rear flash units. On the other hand, the Tecno Camon Pro 5G stands out with a 1/1.56-inch 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS support, a 50-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
The Tecno Camon 30 Pro 5G is packed with premium features, including a 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS, a 50-megapixel sensor with 3x optical zoom, and another 50-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, all supported by a quad flash unit. Moreover, each model boasts a 50-megapixel front camera.
