The Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K made its debut in India on Thursday, May 9. This latest version of the Fire TV Stick boasts several enhancements compared to its predecessors. The new Fire TV Stick 4K features a remote control with dedicated buttons for Amazon’s video and music streaming services, along with Netflix. Additionally, there is a separate button for accessing all apps. Although the tech giant initially released the third generation of the Fire Stick in 2022, this marks the first time they have introduced a streaming device with 4K video support.

Just like its earlier versions, the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K is available in a stylish matte black shade. You can now pre-order this device for Rs. 5,999 on Amazon’s website, and it will officially go on sale from May 13. Moreover, once it is released, you can also purchase the Fire TV Stick 4K from Croma, Reliance Digital, and Vijay Sales, both online and offline.

The Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K is designed for streaming 4K Ultra HD content with HDR10+ support. It also includes Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos audio for an enhanced viewing experience. Amazon claims it is the most powerful streaming device in their Fire TV lineup available in India.

The Fire TV Stick 4K is equipped with a powerful 1.7GHz quad-core processor, giving it a 30 percent boost in performance compared to earlier versions. It supports Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, allowing you to connect to both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi networks. Additionally, the updated Alexa Voice Remote includes dedicated buttons for popular apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Amazon Music.
App Button For Easy Access
Furthermore, an apps button is available to open all other installed video streaming apps. Similar to the previous version, the remote includes voice input powered by Alexa, allowing users to speak their desired content and have the virtual assistant display it on the screen. Users can also wirelessly connect their Echo devices to the Fire TV Stick 4K through the Alexa app.
Access Over 12,000 Amazon Apps and other Online Streaming Apps
The Fire TV Stick 4K provides access to over 12,000 apps from Amazon’s Appstore, including well-known apps like Disney+ Hotstar, Zee5, and Jio Cinema. Viewers can stream content from all these apps with a subscription. Additionally, they can enjoy free content with ads on Amazon MiniTV, YouTube, and MX Player. The device also features a Low Power Mode to save energy when it goes into sleep or standby mode due to inactivity.
